Between the Lines
I went on a shoot with the Publicity.Roanoke group here at the Virginia Museum of Transportation last weekend. Its a fantastic group that has a number of meet ups each and every month. The leadership of the group is committed to generating each and every 1 a worthwhile encounter and they are really profitable with it.

The museum has a large indoor show area. The actual gem, although, is the railyard behind it. There are above 50 pieces of rolling stock on three or 4 lines of track in the yard. Amid these items are steam, electrical and diesel locomotive engines. I saw the inside of an old troop automobile and a caboose amongst other passenger-sort vehicles. I stayed for 3 hrs and didn’t see the whole factor. Here is the website: Virginia Museum of Transportation

The sky there isn’t truly this shade. 😀

This is processed from 9 exposures (-four to +four) with editing in Photoshop CS-4, Topaz, Nik and onOne goods.

This is very best seen in the light box or huge on black.

  1. Nice indulgence.
Now can you’all spend money improving recharge times?
    Invest in R&D of supercapacitors.
The ability to recharge in minutes rather than hours is infinitely more important than a one off prototype that can accelerate to 100 in 2.5 secs, do 400km/hr and takes 6 hours to fully recharge.

  2. its easy to build one off or limited number of super crazy hypercar with ridiculous power or something… what not easy is to build a numbers of production car of such in pristine condition.

  3. who cares about electric car copy pasters. Until tesla, nobody cares about them and now they want to catch up like chine copy pasters

  4. Wrouww what sound.. that is towards races with clean air for the public and maybe the possibility of not having to use earprotection fabelous

  5. Shocker: Nobody cares, well that’s not true. Women wanting to have a car to match their shoes do…just kidding.
It’s beautiful and would love to have one.

  6. but how fast does it accelerate? looked it up; 2.7seconds. People should look at AMZ’s car, a student car reaching 100 in 1.5 seconds.

  7. Electric cars are supposed to be for environment loving peaceful people. People looking for extreme power in electric cars are simply HYPOCRITES!

  8. Still a big loud v16 is cooler and faster i like big loud fast engines this is very cool fast AND SOUNDS LIKE A DAMN JET BOY OH HECK YEA but i prefer both in one car so you can choose depending on Situation and what you want right now

  9. Wonderful series, Donnie! I really like the perspective with this one. You did a great job with the processing. Very tastefully done.

  10. Thank goodness the sky isn’t that colour but the way we are going it probably will be that colour one day!
You know I thought to myself oh Trains, Boys Toys BUT I was pleasantly surprised, the photos is very compelling, the rust colour suits the photo and the trains, well done Donnie, once again you surprised me.

  11. Exquisitely beautiful! And to think it doesn’t cost more to make a beautiful car than it does an ugly one. Shame on GM, Ford, and all the rest! Their concepts look good at the auto shows. But the production version….visually castrated!

  12. Very impressive however I believe is far more important to develop an electric car with an effective range of 900km and a recharging time of 30/45 minutes from 0-100% after that we can talk about racing cars
